Who I am
This website, iFixBasements.com (“the Site”), is operated by Stone Lawrence / iFixBasements (“I,” “me,” “we”). You can reach me at 914-355-6362 or through the contact form on this Site.
What information I collect
- Information you give me directly: when you request an estimate, download a guide, book an appointment, or contact me, I collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and property address.
- Automatic information: like most websites, the Site’s hosting infrastructure logs basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. I don’t use this to identify you personally.
- The page you came from: when you submit a form, I record which page of the Site you submitted it from, so I know what you were asking about.
How I use it
- To respond to your request — scheduling your estimate, sending the guide you asked for, and following up about your project.
- To keep track of our conversation and your project in my customer relationship system.
- To send you messages related to your request. You can opt out of follow-up messages at any time by replying and telling me to stop.
I do not sell your personal information, and I don’t share it with advertisers.
Who I share it with
- Service providers that run this Site’s plumbing: my website host (GoDaddy), my CRM (HubSpot), and my scheduling tool (Calendly) process form and booking data on my behalf.
- H2 Shield (water filtration requests only): if you request the Water Filter Buyer’s Guide or a water-filtration quote, your name, email, and phone number are shared with H2 Shield, the manufacturer whose systems I supply, so your guide and quote can be fulfilled. Estimate requests for basement, foundation, or crawl space work are never shared with H2 Shield.
- Installation partners: if you move forward with basement, foundation, or crawl space work, the details needed to perform the job are shared with the certified installation crew.
- If the law requires it: I’ll disclose information if legally compelled to.
Cookies & embedded content
The Site itself sets minimal cookies (hosting/performance). Some features load third-party content when you interact with them — for example, playing an embedded video loads it from YouTube, and booking through Calendly loads Calendly — and those services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Links to Instagram take you to Instagram, which has its own policy.
How long I keep it
I keep lead and customer records as long as they’re useful for serving you and as required for normal business record-keeping. If you want your information deleted, ask — see below.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me at any time to (1) tell you what information I have about you, (2) correct it, or (3) delete it, subject to records I’m required to keep. Call or text 914-355-6362 or use the contact form, and I’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live (including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have additional rights under state law.
Children
This Site is for homeowners and real-estate professionals. It’s not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
The Site uses HTTPS encryption, and form submissions are protected against automated abuse. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but I limit what I collect to what I actually need to help you.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I’ll update it here with a new effective date. Material changes won’t apply to information collected earlier without telling you.
